Capillary Thermostat Switches
What is a capillary temperature switch?
A fluid is encapsulated in a metal and when the temperature changes the fluid either expands or contracts. This fluid change moves a diaphragm which is in touch with a snap action switch and either opens or closes a circuit.
What is a bulb and capillary sensor?
Bulb and Capillary style thermostats use expanding liquid to open or close contacts in response to temperature changes. Simple to use with a calibrated knob for setting the temperature and the ability to directly switch load current for one of two poles directly. Controller Overview.
What is inside of capillary thermostat?
In capillary thermostats, the temperature sensor consists of a capillary tube, a diaphragm and an expansion fluid. When the sensor is heated, the liquid fluid heats up and expands. The expansion of the fluid increases the pressure in the closed circuit system.
★ Accurate temperature control;
★ Great contact capacity;
★ Wide control range;
★ High reliability.
Please kindly advise your specifications or drawing with following information when you inquiry:
1.Capillary (Materials, diameter, length)
2.The shaft height
3.Working temperature
4.Type of terminal
5.Drawing of special type configuration
6.Special testing requirements before shipment
We can according to your needs to do the capillary length, current temperature and so on, for example the drawing as below:

Applicable for heating equipment, ovens, bakers, electric water heaters, boilers and commercial utensils as precise temperature control.
